The UAE Embassy in Islamabad yesterday organized Iftari meals for the students of International Islamic University in continuation of the charitable work which is sponsored by the UAE Red Crescent Authority and conducted throughout the month of Ramadan.
Iftari food stuff was offered in the hall of the university campus for 1,500 students belonging to 34 Islamic countries. Dr. Abdul-Jabbar in charge of the student’s hostel and a number of faculty members also shared the Iftari meals with the students.
Dr Abdul-Jabbar on behalf the administrators and students extended his thanks and gratitude to the Red Crescent of the UAE for its kind gesture adding that this gathering contributes to building bridges of cooperation and enhance interaction and harmony among the Islamic nation.
