ہاؤسنگ سوسا ئٹیز کے فراڈ روکنے کے لۓ نیب اقدامات

Lahore: To prevent frauds by housing societies, National Accountability Bauru has asked all the regulators, Cooperative department and Commissioners in Punjab to provide details of housing societies. Director General Lahore Development Authority, Director General Faisal Abad Development Authority and Cooperatives Department have already received instructions in this regard. Commissioner offices in Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Gujranwala and Sahiwal have also been sent these instructions.

According to the instructions all housing societies are required to display on the boards full details of the schemes after getting approval from the concerned regulators. Details include total area and demarcation of the scheme, details of allocated plots, areas reserved for services including parks, mosques, schools etc. Housing societies are also required to facilitate its members with all the management and administrative details by displaying the information on the notice boards.

Nab has successfully implemented these steps in Khyaban-i-Amin housing scheme as model project  and decided to expand to all other housing societies. During the last two years NAB has protected the rights of 24500 plot holders in different housing schemes.
