Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) has decided to formulate a comprehensive policy, to establish new education institutions for children of Overseas Pakistanis.
In the meeting of Board of Governors (BOG), the Board evaluated the performance of OPF Educational Institutions and stressed upon the OPF management to improve the academic and administrative standards of all the institutions.
The meeting was chaired by a senior member of the BOG, Masood Ahmed Khan, a prominent Overseas Pakistani from Denmark, and it was decided that draft of National Policy for Overseas Pakistanis should be completed immediately.
The meeting reviewed the development works going on the OPF Valley Zone-V Islamabad and board directed the contractor FWO increase the pace of development activity at site for completion of the project with in the specified period.
The progress on the upcoming projects in the Housing and Education sectors were also reviewed in the meeting and issued directions for early finalization of these projects.
The Board directed OPF to start development works upon OPF, Housing scheme Lahore, Phase-I (Extension), Phase-II, and OPF, Housing scheme Chiterpari, Mirpur (AJK) phase-III and asked about the applications from form desirous Overseas Pakistanis. The News
